Apr 25, 2018 · Malaysia needs to produce its own feed ingredients for the livestock industry to remain self-sufficient, while reducing dependency on imported agricultural products, says its agriculture minister. The country’s farming minister, Datuk Seri Ahmend Shabery Cheek, speaking at the opening of Livestock Asia 2018 last week, said the domestic poultry industry was heavily reliant on imported feed, reported The Malaysia Reserve.
